Happy Halloween!

It's very important to get exercise this Halloween season, what with the days getting shorter and colder and all. Thus, may we humbly recommend the Dominican Jumping Jacks - demonstrated by yours truly at left - or the Big Mak's patented Pump 'n' Dump (at right). Both of these trace their origins to quite possibly the worst video ever released straight to DVD - The Sammy Sosa Story (circa 1999). If demand is sufficient, I may at a later date post instructional videos for how and when to best employ these - and other - classy animated maneuvers derived from low-budget cartoons.

Work and Play

Congratulations to all who survived Demolition Weekend. My store is now stripped down and ready for the contractors to work some magic. In the understatement of the year, I will say only that it wasn't easy. Enjoy the above video of the massive grill exhaust hood falling in a way that no one had expected - destroying my contractor's work lamp and nearly sending the place up in flames as a result.

The CB Demo Crew - From Left (Special Skill In Parentheses):

Señor CB (Sweeping, Pry Bar, Ladder)
David "The Flood" Flood (General Ricketty Carpentry, Gravity Defiance. Hindsight)
Big Mak (Sawzall, More Sawzall, Sledgehammer)
Toadman (Sledgehammer, General Bucketry, Tarp-o-nomics, Wheelbarrow Sciences)
Dr. Mark Hoelscher - Not Pictured (Unlimited Loaner Tools, Storytelling)

Although participants were not paid, they were fed at my expense, housed free of charge (See Below), and invited to partake in a Halloween extravaganza involving the bars o' Downtown Bloomington (pictures to follow).

And finally, for an extra dose of humor, I present the ultimate in duct jousting excitement - man versus heavy grease-fortified celestial (aka dangling in the air) metal ductwork. Enjoy!

CB Ignition

My apologies if you are among the 27 people who have already seen this on youtube (my most popular video ever, as it currently stands). But for those of you who haven't, I figure what better way to celebrate the terminus of my great Steak n Shake odyssey and the concomitant launch of my fledgling D.P. Dough expedition than with my own, very touching rendition of R. Kelly's Ignition (Remix). Enjoy!
